I have three babies of my own (all in their 20s now) and live in Orrville, Ohio with my husband. I'm happy to share my own birth stories so feel free to ask me about them.

My Experience and Philosophy
I have long been passionate about supporting mommas as they bring babies into the world. It is sacred ground! I taught childbirth classes for ten years and began attending births in 2007. Since then, I have attended several hundred births in a variety of hospitals, birth centers and homes. I am always learning something new and it is always an adventure and so rewarding to come alongside families in those moments.
I believe that most of the time, labor and birth can be trusted as a healthy, normal process and left to unfold on its own. Of course, sometimes things happen that are outside of our control. In these cases, interventions and tools can be helpful and/or necessary to keep everyone safe. No matter how your birth experience unfolds, you'll have my unconditional support. My job is to give you the information and resources that you need to make the best decisions possible for yourself. I am most passionate about making sure parents are well-informed about their choices and treated with kindness and respect throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth experience.
